In the city centre, the south side of
the riverbank is inaccessible and hidden from the public, thereby preventing us from observing the soft
transition from the centre to the countryside.
We wish to create a new public centre on the outskirts of the Ljubljana centre and encourage the
revitalization of the unused green areas along the river. Based on the presented developmental strategy
for the area in question, we have outlined a proposal for regulating the river embankment and for setting
up a bathing area, accommodation units - a hostel, and a park, which will be key in linking the city to the
countryside.
